Caravan Servicing in the Worcestershire Area

Caravan and Trailer repairs, servicing, and maintenance.

Approved Workshop

Forest Caravan Services is a member of the Approved Workshop Scheme. We are now in a position to service your caravan whatever age, so if your caravan is only 12 months old and still within the manufacturer’s warranty, we are authorised through the approved workshop scheme to undertake servicing without invalidating this warranty.

Approved Workshop

Why choose an Approved Workshop?

The Approved Workshop Scheme is a joint enterprise between the NCC (National Caravan Council), the Caravan Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club. It is the benchmark for touring caravan and motorhome servicing.

To be part of the Scheme, both mobile engineers and workshops must pass an annual inspection by a team of independent assessors and comply with the Scheme’s rigorous standards – the right things done, to a high standard, by the right people. When you choose an Approved Mobile or Workshop, you can be sure that the technician working on your touring caravan or motorhome is a fully qualified servicing professional, trained to the required standards.

The Approved Workshop will normally guarantee their work for a minimum of six months and take all reasonable steps to protect the validity of any unexpired warranties.

There are hundreds of mobile and fixed Approved Workshops throughout the UK.

What can I expect from an Approved Workshop?

Along with the requirements for technicians, each Approved Workshop meets high standards of competency and complies with a Code of Practice.
This means that all Workshops will:

  1. Display a menu of pricing, specifying labour rates
  2. Provide an estimate for additional servicing or repair work over £150
  3. Give an estimated time for completion and collection
  4. Use genuine spare parts where available
  5. Ensure all work is carried out using skill, care and professional judgement
  6. Always provide you with a check list of work done
  7. Not start work without your express authority
  8. Contact you for authority to continue if additional work is identified
  9. Notify you in writing of faults which are not rectified, with an honest assessment of the urgency of the repairs

What happens if I am not satisfied?

Every workshop in the Scheme has a positive approach to putting things right, and operates a clear and simple complaints procedure. In the unlikely event of a serious complaint that is not rectified this way, the complaint will be independently investigated via the free conciliation procedure.
